A Brilliant Mind

No matter where mental illness takes you,  one thing is certain: beyond the chaos, beyond the fear lies a brilliant mind.  It amazing the power we all have to co-create our lives, to build them through our thoughts and to make them a product of our thought/feeling experience.

The only real difference with people with mental illness is that our minds tend to me hyper-active.  They are super thought engines on speed.  There are many mountains in my life I have seen moved because I could focus my thought energy like a laser to manifest them.  For example three times I was dead set on moving to Nashville, and three times in a manner of a couple months, the just concentrated my thought/feeling/experience and means to move just happened.  Call it was you will every mind can be trained to focus, but when you have a mental illness the ability formulate thought form into reality is heightened and more precise.

This is not always a good thing.  In fact as I have mentioned in previous blogs, when your thought/feeling/creating engine is filled with fear and negative emotions, the outcome of what you create is not always positive.  Many times you create very unstable situations for yourself as fear can cripple your ability to define and maintain outcomes.  We hear about this constantly in the media when someone goes off their meds and attacks some famous person.

In my life for example the last time I managed to move to Nashville I got there ok, the money fell in my lap, I got settled, but so much fear was swirling within me I could not manage my emotions or fears. And then I couldn't make the situation permanent because I couldn't adjust, or think beyond my circumstances and fear to make things work.

For everyone our emotional and our thought spectrum help guide us and help us make priority-based decision for our lives.  In people with mental illness this process is swirled it is spiked/energized with so much anxiety and fear that you cannot sort out not only what you desire but also you have a terrible time making any kind of decision or gaining any kind of traction or momentum in your life.

Like many lessons in life until you can remove the fear and anxiety in your equation, you find yourself swirling about the same broken thought patterns without gaining ground or resolution.  Once you have removed those fears, dreads, doubts, your path can be clear and your mind can be focused on creating the life you are meant to live.

Your mind is Brilliant, your life is Beautiful!
